Since this would be a worthwhile investment for you to make, this may even literally relate to an increase in finances. Pouring into your own cup here doesn’t translate as modern-day self-care but rather as a kind of Biblical self-care where you invest in your connection with God.
Connecting to God will allow you to connect to your own loving spirit again where you will be able to open your heart again. This stronger connection with God may also relate to a downpouring of God’s presence everywhere in your life effectively ending the flood in your life, where you will be seeing the first signs that your new life has actually begun.
When you make an investment into a business this usually means you put money into your business with the hope that the business will grow and bring you a profit – similarly, investing in your connection with God you can also see as investing in your growth with a very real tangible benefit attached to it.
Besides money, putting in time, effort, or emotional support into something is also often seen as making an investment. So if you relate this to investing in your connection with God, this means that you need to put in the required time to talk to God about whatever you are struggling with emotionally so you can allow God to support you in a very tangible way.
So humbly invest in your divine nature, so you can experience first-hand the transformative power of God's love in your life, and what it means to be divinely provided for.
